Thank god for Tinder! We both swiped right on each other and hit it off the very same day. After a few days of texting back and forth, Cris decided we should go on a little date. We met up at Pioneers Park Nature Center in Lincoln NE for a little picnic/exploring. We hit it off right away and could not stop chatting. We learned so much about each other that weekend, we were so glad to step out of our comfort zone together. After a few more days of Facetiming and watching movies over the internet together, cris asked kate to be his girlfriend! Again, thank god for technology and Tinder.
It was Christmas morning and all through the house, everyone was stirring and running around! We were getting ready for the family Christmas at my uncle's. Cris kept messing around with his shirt pocket and Kate kept telling him to "Quit it, it looks fine buttoned or unbuttoned!" Little did she know, he was messing with it because something shiny was inside. My mom set us up in front of the tree to take a photo of our outfits. She also wanted a photo with my puppy, Moose, with his new bandana. She was messing around with it, and eventually put it inside out (without her realizing what it said). She kept telling me to smile and look at the bandana, and Kate kept telling her "I was trying to fix it because it was inside out!" Finally, she turned it around and looked what it said, "Will You Marry Me?", and Cris got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! My mom got it all on video, and to say she looked dumb was an understatement... Christmas is our favorite memories and we are glad cris decided to pop the question after chatting with her whole family the day before!
