Our first encounter was in Chemistry class sophomore year of high school, but our paths didn't truly cross until our friend groups merged at the end of junior year. I was good friends with a gal dating one of Brandon's golf buddies. She thought Brandon and I had the same sense of humor and that we'd really hit it off. She asked if she could give him my phone number and I agreed. I knew we had a great time in chemistry, but I was very nervous because I was (am) incredibly awkward around boys. We started texting late that summer and he eventually asked if I'd like to go out on a date. After an awkward first group date (a story for another time), he asked me to Homecoming on my birthday with Harry Potter and Chick-fil-a (the perfect combo). Then asked me to be his girlfriend after the homecoming game with a Chili's Molten Lava cake; he truly had me pegged from the beginning. After many many cherished highschool memories, we found ourselves 129 miles apart. The long-distance began as did our college careers. While the distance was hard - it made the heart grow fonder. We were able to have our own experiences, support one another's goals and dreams, and still managed to grow together at the same time. Through summers apart, internships and busy school schedules - we truly defied the odds. Then on March 9th, 2019, Brandon asked me to spend forever with him and it was the easiest "yes" I have ever said. While our story thus far has been wonderful in so many ways, we cannot wait for this next adventure together. LET'S GET MARRIED!!!
