We're Getting Married

It was around Halloween time, Baily ended up visiting home from working out west. While he was home, we ended up swiping each other right on Tinder. He was pretty persistent that we meet up. I told him I was a student, attending St. Thomas University & I had a break in between my classes. He drove from Saint John to Fredericton to officially meet for the first time. I remember being so nervous as his Volkswagen Jetta pulled up, partly because it was a super nice car, but also I was a meeting a stranger from a dating app & I watch a lot of murder mysteries. I got in the car, and we went for a short drive around Fredericton and talked a bit about ourselves before deciding to grab a bite to eat at the Great Canadian Bagel. Once there, we continued chatting about life until it was ready to head back to the University as I had another class to get to. On the way back, I told him about how I was nervous and was glad he didn't murder me. - I must have been a decent time as it wasn't even 48 hours later and I had him traveling back to Fredericton again for our Second date. I remember I asked him if he wanted to grab dinner at the fine dining seafood restaurant I was working at. We met at Wolastoq Wharf, I was really hoping he was into me, as much as he was into the Surf & Turf at dinner. I convinced him to come to my house & definitely used our newest Fur family member Tilly to seal the deal. He followed me from dinner to my family's house in the Nashwaak, met my family members & all my pets. It wasn't long after, we had our next couple of dates planned out. One big one being a concert in Moncton. He drove from SJ to Fredericton to pick me up, and then we went to Moncton together. We dined at Kelseys, got ready at the hotel & then were off to see Sum41 & The Offspring. It was a really fun evening. Baily ended up sharing news with me, that he was going away to work in Turkey for a month. I was a little sad our fun would on a pause, but I knew it wouldn't be the end. - We survived the month of being on opposite sides of world, opposite sleep schedules & staying up late to chat with one another for an hour or so before the other one would have to start their day/ say goodnight. When he returned home, he let me know he would be working back outwest. - Bail left for work outwest, not long after COVID-19 had shut down the world forcing him to return home from work. Bail & I have been inseparable ever since.
