Wedding Party

Ashley Kouski

Bride

She was perfectly content doing life solo; thriving on independence, quiet mornings, and the occasional dramatic exit. Marriage? Not on the vision board. But then came Kate: equally brilliant, just as stubborn, and somehow able to make her laugh even when she didn’t want to. Now she’s here, in a dress she swore she’d never wear, about to say “I do” to the one person who made partnership feel like freedom — and love feel like rest. She still needs her naps, still does things her way, but now she’s got someone who gets it. Turns out, meeting your match doesn’t mean losing yourself. It means finding someone who sees you clearly — and stays anyway.

Katelyn (Kate) Merrell

Bride

She’s been planning this day with the precision of a military strategist and the emotional range of a rom-com villain. She’s part of the reason this wedding looks amazing — and the reason no one dared suggest burlap table runners. She’s the kind of woman who can cry over a puppy video and then ruthlessly organize a seating chart like a chess master. Sweet as sugar, sharp as a stiletto, and somehow still smiling after months of planning chaos. Today, she’s the bride. Tomorrow, she’s probably still sending thank-you notes at 2 a.m. We love her, fear her (just a little), and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Joe Larson

Best Man

He’s been my best friend since early adulthood and somehow still puts up with me. He’s the kind of friend who makes life better just by being in it. From late-night debates to last-minute adventures, he’s the guy who always shows up — with jokes, loyalty, and probably snacks. He’s here to support me, keep the vibes high, and probably sneak snacks into his suit jacket. Couldn’t do this day without him — and wouldn’t want to.

Tanya Merrell

Maid of Honor

She’s my big sister, my confidant, and one of my best friends. Her love, strength, and support have shaped who I am, and let’s be honest, so has her ability to deliver life advice with the precision of a TED Talk and the sass of a reality TV judge. She’s equal parts sparkle, sarcasm, and emotional support hotline. Having her stand beside me means everything. She keeps me grounded, can make me laugh when I need it most, and reminds me that family is forever (even when we steal each other’s food). I’m so grateful to have her by my side (not just to keep me from tripping down the aisle) but also because she’s the kind of person who makes every moment brighter, funnier, and infinitely more meaningful.

Roland Kouski III

Bridesman

He’s my brother, my lifelong teammate, and the guy who’s been making me laugh (and occasionally driving me crazy) since day one. He’s the one I’ve looked up to, leaned on, and shared more memories with than I can count. Having him as my bridesman means everything — even if he insists on reminding me who the “cooler sibling” is. I’m lucky to have him by my side today, just like always.

Brandon Greubel

Bridesman

Whether it’s offering quiet wisdom or showing up with the kind of calm that makes chaos feel manageable, he’s the kind of best friend who makes everything better. From kitchen dance parties to late-night talks and spontaneous drives, he’s been my sounding board, my hype man, and the one who always knows how to make me laugh—even when I’m stress-crying over wardrobe meltdowns. His loyalty runs deep, and his friendship is one of the most cherished parts of my life. I’m beyond lucky to have him standing with me today.
