We are including a cherished Yoruba wedding tradition known as the ‘money spray’ which is a lively and elegant time where guests shower the couple with small bills on the dance floor as a symbol of joy, prosperity, and celebration. Should you wish to partake, we invite you to bring small dollar bills and your most festive spirit. Entirely optional, but highly encouraged for those who don’t mind making it rain… with impeccable taste.

Are kids invited?

No, we will not be having children at the wedding/reception. As much as we would love for them to attend, we really want to focus on everyone enjoying themselves and getting to mingle and have a fun evening out to celebrate.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal elegance. We invite our guests to dress in cocktail or refined evening wedding attire. In celebration of Yoruba wedding traditions, members of Niran’s family will be dressed in traditional attire, adding a rich and vibrant element to the occasion—one we are delighted to share.

Will there be alcohol?

Yes there will be a cocktail hour after ceremony, as well as during reception party.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there will be free parking available. It is also handicap accessible throughout the venue. The ceremony and reception are all at Forest Edge. (less parking and driving issues!)

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for details of our hotel block. DEADLINE to reserve room with wedding block is September 7th,2026. Also if you have issues with reservations on website receiving quoted price please call hotel and speak with front desk receptionist. The block is under Hooper/Okuwa wedding.
