Corto Lima
You can’t go wrong when you order the blue corn empanadas and the papas en la lata! Also, their prickly pear margaritas on the rocks are insanely good. However, they don’t take reservations, so it is usually a good idea to call ahead to know how busy they are.
Chocolate Holler
This is one of my favorite coffee shops and is located in downtown Lexington. They have numerous sipping chocolates, coffee, and yummy bakery items. You won’t regret making a stop here!
Lexington Farmers' Market
The Lexington Farmers’ Market is from 8 am to 1 pm every Saturday in the Pavillion of downtown Lexington. You can find tasty produce and beautiful flowers from local florists!
Evans Orchard and Cider Mill
This is a great place to take kids. When it is nice they also have outdoor activities, apple picking and lots of yummy items in their country store! Definitely try their Apple cider donuts.. YUM!
Country Boy Brewery
You can have a cider flight or order from “The Kitchen.” They have delicious sandwiches, flatbreads, chili dogs and more! Sometimes there are food trucks that offer other yummy food options as well!
Kentucky Theatre
This is a historic theater located in downtown Lexington and offers a great atmosphere to watch films.
