Noah & I met for the very first time in February of 2021. ❤️ Our very first date was at a coffee shop ‘Cup of Joe’ in Cedar Falls. Only a few people know, that I was so nervous for this date I almost turned around and ran away on the way there. 😂🫠 Almost 4 years later, I’m so glad I didn’t!! I remember seeing him for the first time and thinking ‘Wow, he’s really handsome’. He was wearing a maroon sweater and nice jeans, and I was impressed he dressed up to meet me. We ordered coffee together, and he paid! We sat down in the back of the shop & talked about everything you’re ‘not’ supposed to talk about on dates. At this time, I was over surface level dates & was ready to find my life partner. We talked about everything under the sun, because I wanted to make sure we aligned before we went on a second date. 😉 Later, Noah told me he was shocked and had never been on a date like that before. He said that it set me apart and he knew I was serious. 😂 Leaving that date, I walked away with my cheeks hurting because I had smiled so much. I knew then and there that he would be a special part of my life forever. If you take anything away from our love story, take risks! Don’t be afraid to be yourself, even on the first date! The right one will love you for who you truly are. ❤️
