In middle school track practice, running laps around the school, the track coach made whoever finished first stick around with the last person to finish. Grady found himself walking with Katelyn. Who would've guessed that being the slowest person would pay off like this. From the very beginning, Grady has been able to match my pace and stay by my side. I guess it's true what they say, slow and steady wins the race.

My brother and sister in law had just bought a house and we had a family dinner there. We were taking family photos, whole family together, just the kids, and then Grady and I. While getting our photos taken, the photos switched to videos and Grady got down on one knee. Instant tears and I knew what my answer was. We started dating on 6.5.2018, we got engaged on 8.5.2023, and we are getting married on 10.5.2024. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
