The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
The Dallas Arboretum is a beautiful garden in north Dallas and is perfect for a morning walk. This is where we had our engagement photos taken!
Fort Worth Stockyards
The Fort Worth Stockyards showcases the quintessential stereotype of Texas life. There are twice daily cattle-drives (11:30 AM and 4:00 PM) where the Fort Worth Herd of Texas Longhorns walk down East Exchange Avenue that are very cool to watch. Billy Bob's, known as the "World's Largest Honky Tonk," features live country music, line dancing, and even indoor bull riding. Lastly, the Fort Worth Stockyards also includes the Cowtown Coliseum, which hosts the Stockyards Championship Rodeo every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM. It also hosts the PBR Stockyards Showcase every Thursday at 7:30 PM.
Six Flags Over Texas
While this theme park is the original park of the Six Flags chain, it has been well maintained. It has a ton of rollercoasters and rides to keep the whole family entertained.
