On October 17th, 2014, just outside of Czar on 7th Avenue in Ybor City, fate quietly stepped in—thanks to Katelin’s brother. Neither of them was searching for forever that night, but sometimes forever finds you when you least expect it. A chance meeting turned into a spark on the dance floor, and before the music faded, they had exchanged numbers—both feeling that something special had begun. Two dates later, what started as a simple connection had already grown into something undeniable. They didn’t just want to see where it would go—they knew they wanted to go there together. Over the past eleven years, they have built a love rooted in laughter, resilience, and unwavering devotion—growing side by side through every season of life. And now, with full hearts and steady hands, they are ready to begin their greatest adventure yet: spending the rest of their lives together.
They met just outside Czar on 7th Ave, all thanks to Katelin's brother.
They went to Outback on their first date, watched Horrible Bosses because Dino wouldn't stop talking about it, and talked until 6 am the next morning.
The 2nd date was at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. They had an amazing time there and Katelin met Dino's sister. After they left Universal, early morning on the 24th, he asked her to be his girlfriend.
They moved in together after a year and a half. They have grown together over the years, have been inseparable and have always dreamt about living the rest of their lives together.
The day after Dino got back from Puerto Rico with his mom and sister, he bought the ring. He met Katelin for dinner with her dad and nanny. While she stepped away, Dino showed them the ring.
They went to Union New American in South Tampa and had some delicious food. At the end of dinner he got close to her, down on one knee and proposed.
