Question

Are we allowed to bring our kids?

Answer

Although we love your cute little kiddos, you deserve a date night, too! We kindly ask that this is kept as an adult-only event.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation says “guest,” please feel free to bring that person. If it does not, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can accommodate everyone.

Question

The church is on Creighton's campus... where do we park for the ceremony?

Answer

Parking: Guest parking is available on the top level of the 24th Street Parking Garage on Creighton's campus. Please allow a few extra minutes to park and walk to the church. Overflow Parking: If the church parking garage is full, metered Park Omaha street parking is available on surrounding streets. Please be sure to follow posted parking signs and meter instructions. Question

There is a big time gap between the ceremony and reception... what should we do?

Answer

Oftentimes, Catholic masses have to occur early in the day on Saturdays. Fortunately, you get a few hours to do whatever you'd like! Feel free to grab a drink downtown, play a round of indoor mini golf, or even explore parks outside. We are fortunate to have the venue all day, but we ask that you do not arrive before the 4:30 or until the 5pm cocktail hour to allow time for extra setup. Don't forget, you'll need around 30 minutes of travel time to get to our reception venue!

Question

When does cocktail hour start?

Answer

Cocktail hour will start at 5pm at the reception venue with dinner to follow.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Is the pope Catholic? YES!

Question

Will there be a shuttle service provided?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service provided to and from the reception ONLY. Shuttle buses will leave the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton at 4:30pm and 5pm, with a 30-minute ride to the reception venue. Shuttles will be returning to downtown Omaha at the end of the night starting at 9pm. Due to the amount of out of town guests, we kindly ask that you select the shuttle bus option on your RSVP if you plan to use the provided transportation.

Question

If I want to take the shuttle to and from the reception, but am not staying at the hotel, where do I park my car?

Answer

The Hampton Inn & Suites does not offer an hourly rate, but has a surface lot that guests can use for a flat fee of $15 a night. Check in and pay with the front desk if you would like to park your car here. Alternatively, there is also street parking available around the hotel. Guests can pay hourly for these spots through the Park Omaha machines located on the streets, or easily through the Park Omaha app. Enforcement of these spaces ends at 9pm.
