Flight

LAX to Athens (ATH), then take a short connecting flight to Chania (CHQ).

ARRIVE AT LEAST 1-2 DAYS BEFORE WEDDING Welcome Party - 1 Day before wedding (more info to come) Wedding: Saturday, September 25, 2027 Crete has two main airports: Chania (CHQ) and Heraklion (HER), with daily flights from Athens and other Greek islands. We recommend flying into Chania (CHQ), the closest airport to our venue. ✈️ Getting There Section The easiest way to get to Chania, Crete is to fly from LAX to Athens (ATH), then take a short connecting flight to Chania (CHQ). The flight from Athens to Chania is about 45–50 minutes, with multiple daily options. We recommend allowing at least 2–3 hours between flights for an stress-free connection. Once you arrive in Chania, the drive to the venue area is about 15–25 minutes, with taxis and private transportation readily available.
