Are my kids invited?
Answer
Though we dearly love your children, our ceremony and reception will strictly be an adults only event! Our venue capacity cannot accommodate all the children in our lives. We are blessed to have big families and a lot of friends! We hope this advance notice gives you plenty of time to make arrangements and you will still be able to celebrate with us! We hope that you can use this as a date night and get a sitter! Thank you so much for respecting our wedding day wishes!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Highly recommend booking hotels as soon as possible as there is a big soccer tournament and concert in town the same weekend. Under the travel section, there are several hotels with discounted rates. There's also several air bnbs in the area-De Soto, Olathe, Eudora, Lenexa, and Overland Park! 13 minutes from venue-Holiday Inn Express & Suites Olathe West 13 minutes from venue-Four Points by Sheraton Olathe We have reserved a block of rooms at Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City Olathe-these will go quickly! These 3 hotels listed above are within walking distance of one another, and close to Johnny's Tavern, where we will likely go after to continue the celebration! Super 8 De Soto, KS - 5 minutes to venue Hotels at Lenexa city center are 16 minutes away. We would recommend the Hyatt Place or the SpringHill Suites by Marriott City Center. Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-formal attire recommended-such as a cocktail length dress or a suit and tie. Please reserve the traditional color white for the bride.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Honeymoon fund--We've lived together for quite awhile, with all our pots and pans, and as we don't need homely gifts, we've got another plan! We know it's not traditional, and not the way it's done. But rather than a wedding gift, we'd love a bit of sun! So if you'd like to give a gift, and send us on our way, a donation to our honeymoon would really make our day! In addition, we are registered for a few things listed under the registry section!

How far in advance should I book a hotel?
Answer
We highly recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible. There is a soccer tournament and a Tim McGraw concert in town the same weekend. Hotels are already filling up.
