Based on March 25th, 2022, we're expecting it to be: H: 65degF L: 55degF
Nashville International Airport (BNA). Not entirely sure why it's BNA, but that's correct! (it threw Colby off the first time)
Almost every major airline flies into and out of Nashville, but make sure you check Southwest Airlines' website directly! It doesn't show up on flight search websites like Expedia, Google Flights, etc.
This means something different for everyone, but to us, it means the following: Cocktail dresses, blazers, suit coats, collared shirts, slacks, etc. (ties not required) There isn't a "dress code" per say, but we would like to keep the ceremony and reception dressier. That said, wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident! We'll have some alternate footwear for those that need to dance a little harder than the shoes can keep up with.
Think spring dresses and dress pants/a nice shirt. Imagine you were going to the tea party in Alice in Wonderland! (But bring a jacket)
There will be transportation from a central location in Nashville to Graystone Quarry. For those that don't want to meet at this TBD location, there are tons of ubers/lyfts. We will be firming this up closer to the wedding!
We will have party buses to transport folks from Graystone Quarry back to downtown Nashville. Folks who are too tired to keep partying can get dropped off at that location to go back to their airbnb/hotel, but we can't promise we won't convince you to stay out if you get on the party bus.
Of course. There is plenty of parking available on site, including handicap parking. We do prefer that folks take the provided shuttle/bus service so that nobody is drinking and driving, but we understand that some folks will prefer to drive themselves.
Well....first of all, we are praying that it does not rain day-of. However, if mother nature decides to cry, both the ceremony and reception halls are inside. The reception hall patio will still be open for anyone who decides to brave the rain. We will both be going out for a puddle party - why not make the most of it?! (see top image for proof)
At present, the short answer to both of these questions is no. However, if there is another surge, we will ask that guests be either vaccinated or show proof of a negative Covid test before joining the festivities to keep everyone safe. If this is the case, we will provide tests for those that need them.
Please please please let us know as soon as you can. We will be going to menu tastings in both July and November 2022 and will need to lock in the menu shortly thereafter. The sooner you can let us know, we can plan to try a variety of food options to ensure it's not cardboard.
If there is a question that you have outside of the above, please feel reach out to us at murdockgottherock@gmail.com !
