It all started in the middle of nowhere, the Darién Gap, the remote waters between Colombia and Panama. Kateleigh was on a fishing trip with her Dad, and Sam was working at the lodge as the videographer. He was actually supposed to leave on the same plane they came in on… but he decided to stay another week. Why? Sam says it was because of Kateleigh’s smile, he’d never seen a more beautiful one than hers. He was full of cheesy lines, but he was always sincere. In fact, while on the boat, he texted his Dad: “I think I found the woman I’m gonna marry.” They spent that week fishing in Colombia, and by the end of the trip, Sam asked Kateleigh to join him on another adventure to Peru right after. Totally normal. Kateleigh’s Dad said, “You only live once.” And she went for it. They fell in love doing what they love, in some pretty unreal places, and now here they are, ready for their greatest adventure yet. ❤️
