Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

As much as we adore your children, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only affair. We hope you can still join us for a wonderful evening of celebration!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you! To keep our wedding intimate, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the address of the wedding venue? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The venue name and address will be provided upon submission of your RSVP. Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

We are providing shuttle service between the Homewood Suites Frederick and venue. Ahead of the ceremony, there will be a shuttle departing from Homewood Suites at 3:45 pm. After the reception, the shuttle will be transporting guests back to the hotel at 10:30 pm.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue includes free on-site parking for those that choose to drive.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors on the patio, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors as well.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at two hotels in Frederick, MD. The hotel details are listed under the Travel tab of our website. Please book your stay by cut off dates listed to guarantee a room in our block.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they MAY be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block.

Answer

The closest airports to our hotels in Frederick, MD are Washington Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI).

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

Answer

At the end of May, Leesburg, Virginia, experiences warm and pleasant weather, with highs around 75–85°F and lows between 55–65°F. Expect plenty of sunshine and moderate humidity. Don't forget your sunglasses!

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a buffet-style dinner. If you have any dietary restrictions, please list them on your RSVP.

If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can send that gift directly to us by using our Amazon wedding registry. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.

What's the wedding itinerary?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm sharp, followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 10:30pm. To prevent any disruptions during the ceremony, guests that arrive late will be directed towards the cocktail location.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Guests can arrive one hour ahead of our 5pm ceremony time. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time.

Our reception will end around 10:30 pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, small bites, and mingle.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Ceremony- We kindly ask that you keep our ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Cocktail Hour and Reception- We will have QR codes posted to access a photo sharing app for any pictures you capture during during the cocktail hour and reception.
