Question

Who is invited to attend the Welcome Dinner?

Answer

The Welcome Dinner is intended for Out-of-Town Guests who are staying at Windermere House and the Wedding Party. If you are unsure if you should attend, please reach out to Kate or Bryan.

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Ladies, please keep in mind that stiletto heels may not be the best choice on the docks and decks of Muskoka. They are also not great for walking on our big soft lawns. I would suggest that a block heel or a wedge will serve you best! Also, bring some flats for dancing if you want!

Question

Who should come on the peerless II boat cruise?

Answer

All guests are welcome and encouraged to start the night on the Peerless II from Windermere House to get into the Muskoka vibe. It's a beautiful old Muskoka boat and an experience to remember!

Question

What time does the boat leave Windermere for the Ceremony?

Answer

The Peerless II leaves Windermere at 4:00pm. Please arrive early to board the boat for the cruise to Penman Island so we arrive on time for the ceremony.

Question

Where can I park my boat during the Wedding?

Answer

There will be no boat parking allowed at the Leggat Cottage during the wedding festivities. The Jephcott family and the Basadur family have kindly agreed to allow boat parking at their docks for the event. These are the two neighbouring cottages to the east of ours (to the right as you approach). For those who want to park at Windermere, we will be providing boat shuttle service there hourly at the end of the night.

Question

What time is the Ceremony?

Answer

It will start at 5:00pm, so please arrive between 4:30-4:45pm to take your seats.

Question

What time are the boat shuttles back to Windermere House?

Answer

We will be providing boat shuttle service back to Windermere House every hour, on the hour, starting at 10:00pm, with the last shuttle leaving at 1:00am

Question

What is a Sunday Dock Day?

Answer

In classic Muskoka tradition, we all get together on the dock with snacks and drinks, and exchange stories from the night out before. Bathing suits recommended for sunning and swimming. Weather permitting of course!

For all the days along the way
