Zech's best friend, the two bonded over being Least and Most Likely to Succeed in NC 4-H. They have experienced great fun together by being surprising trouble for agents and parents, losing Zech's backpacks, and partying each other's problems away. Zoe's schooling and work as a theater stage manager has taken her all across the country, but they always make it a point to meet up whenever possible.

Kierstyn Henderson

Maid of Honor

Kate's best friend since high school. They met through their local 4-H group and have been through thick and thin with each other ever since. While they went to different colleges, they have remained best of friends and still manage to get up to plenty of shenanigans together. Kate is so thankful to have such a loving friend and there is no one else she could imagine as having as her maid of honor.

Noah Crawford

Groomsman

Zech's younger brother, they have been thick as thieves after getting over the brotherly feuding stage. They often stand in the kitchen critiquing each other's cooking and discussing the newest gaming achievements and news. They rarely watch full movies together though, as it is a well known fact that Noah cannot stay awake on a couch for that long.

Arilyn Lynch

One of Kate's best friends from college. They had many classes together and bonded over being in the same major and minor. In many ways, Arilyn was one of Kate's most influential mentors throughout college. There were many late nights, mental break downs, Taco Bell runs, and fun moments shared. Even after college, they have remained close friends who still manage to find weird things to do.

Meghan Williams

Groomswoman

Meghan with an "H" is Zech's only and youngest sister, the oldest of the four siblings. She lives in Chicago with her husband Nick, but is often eager to return to North Carolina to see family, play strange board games, and eat fast food chicken biscuits. Zech and Meghan have found that the best way to enjoy company is with a beer and the strangest movie one can find.

Miracle Etim-Andy

Bridesmaid

Kate's roommate from the last three years and one of her best friends from college. While they met by coincidence, there is no one Kate would have rather lived with and gone through so much with in the last few years including quarantining at college throughout the height of Covid and concussions. Miss Miracle has always been a steady force in Kate's life and an incredibly reliable friend.

Brian Hutchins

Groomsman

Brian and Zech hung out in 4-H but became truly good friends when they attended UNC Greensboro together. Highlights include meeting weekly in the library basement to play Magic: the Gathering, playing retro video games, and urban exploration. Brian is going to be a bigshot movie director when he's finished with his Master's at UNC Wilmington, but Zech expects credit and frequent meetups.

Sam Halstead

Bridesperson

Kate's older sister (who has at times been a major pain in her side) has always been there for her and one of her biggest cheer leaders. Sam was the first person to show Kate horror movies and now the sisters share a love for the genre, particularly loving the worst of B-rated movies they can find. The two have always been close and have known that they could rely on each other no matter what. Kate couldn't imagine not having her sister there with her on her wedding day.

AJ Akers

AJ has been a good friend of Zech and Zoe for years, completing the 4-H trio of overachieving, drama, and hallway friendship-weddings that any group they formed quickly became known for. They are a political star in the making, proving that Zech really knows how to pick friends that will make him famous by association.

Hallie Siffringer

Bridesmaid

Kate and Hallie were first long distance friends that met through Arilyn and first met in person at a conference in Arkansas. The two were immediately fast friends and have continued to bond over their pets, taste in music, and weird sense of humor. There is never a boring moment with them and Kate has cherished every moment.

Adam Crawford

Officiant

Zech's older brother, he was selected as tribute to officiate due to his infectious charisma and degree in a relevant field, but is as much of a wedding party member as any. He is the father of two rambunctious boys, and is a traditional nerd who goes to great lengths creating plots and props for his extremely intricate Dungeon & Dragons campaigns. He is often the designated host for holiday celebrations, and always has fun games and complex meals planned for any occasion.

Rachel Bentley

After two years of traveling the world together over spring break, Kate and Rachel have vowed to travel somewhere (most likely state parks) together every year to keep the tradition going. The two bonded over their love of nature, funky little animals, and Taylor Swift. Rachel has become one of Kate's go to people for advice about any situation and the two know that a good joy ride will make any problem a little bit better.
