Albany’s annual Pearlapalooza music festival will be happening on the same day as our wedding starting at 11 am. Visit downtownalbany.org/Pearlapalooza for more details!
Indian Ladder Farms has great apple picking and amazing cider donuts! If you're lucky, you'll see all of the farm animals that ILF has to offer. Be sure to check out the brewery and cidery while you're there.
Wayne and Kate have gone on many dates around the Albany warehouse district. Some of our favorites include Tanpopo Ramen, Wolff's Biergarten, Olde English Pub, Nine Pin Cider, Lost & Found, and Druther's Brewing Company.
Lark Street has a special place in our hearts -- Wayne's old stomping grounds! Check out Savoy (across the street from Wayne's old apartment!) for great cocktails, Bomber's Burrito Bar, and Post wine bar.
Located just a few steps away from Lark St, Madison Ave is home to the place where Wayne and Kate met. Although we can't promise that Lionheart is the classiest bar in Albany, feel free to stop by and grab a beer. We love El Loco for Mexican food and strong margs, Shogun for Japanese food, and Washington Park for a nice relaxing stroll.
If you're looking for a good brunch in Albany, we highly recommend Cafe Madison (Albany location) and Iron Gate Cafe. Cafe Madison has amazing oatmeal pancakes and brunch cocktails. Iron Gate has a cute gated outdoor dining area and has plenty of vegan options.
Known as the place where Wayne ordered two ice creams in one sitting, we love Emack & Bolio's. You can't go wrong with any flavor.
