Our story didn’t begin with a perfectly planned moment. It began quietly, growing stronger with each passing day. Like many of you know, we met in college, playing lacrosse. Just two people juggling classes, practices, and parties, without any idea that something lasting was taking shape. As time passed, we talked, laughed, cried, and grew closer, not realizing we were slowly changing each other’s lives. What started as shared days on campus became years of memories, adventures, and an easy kind of partnership built on honesty and trust. After 13 years together, taking the time (some might say a lot of time) to truly learn one another has made supporting each other through change, challenge, and milestones feel natural. We’ve grown up side by side, always choosing each other. On December 13th, at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art, the question was finally asked. The proposal was intimate—just the two of us, both a little nervous, sharing a moment that felt entirely our own. We’re grateful for patience, empathy, and above all, love—and for everyone who has been part of our story along the way.
