What is the dress code?
Answer
The attire for Friday night's Welcome Party is Cocktail. We suggest cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets and slacks. The attire for Saturday evening's Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception is Semi-Formal. We suggest that men wear a suit and tie in any color and women wear a cocktail dress, floor length dress, or a nice pantsuit. Tuxes and gowns are welcome as well. Your backdrop for Saturday evening will be timeless and beautiful works of art, so feel free to dress in hues that will compliment the visuals in the photo above!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.

What’s the best way to get from the hotel to the wedding venue?
Answer
Although we aren’t providing shuttle service, the venue (Columbus Museum of Art) is conveniently located—just a 10-minute walk or a quick 3-minute drive from our hotel (Renaissance Columbus Downtown). Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, as well as taxis, are easy to access in the area at any time of day, though you’re welcome to schedule a ride in advance for added convenience. Parking information can be found below.

COLUMBUS MUSEUM OF ART PARKING The museum's ample parking lot will be available for free to our guests from 5 p.m. onward. All cars must be removed from the lot by 9:30 a.m. the next morning! RENAISSANCE COLUMBUS HOTEL PARKING The hotel offers valet parking at the rate of $23 for daily parking and $45 for overnight parking. They also have a few off-property parking options: State House Garage $2/hr ($14 Daily Max) $6 Evening Max $5 Weekend (0-5 hours) 3rd and Gay Street Lot $4/hr ($15 Daily Max) $6 Weekend Daily $15 Weekend Overnight 3rd and Long Street Garage $3/hr ($12 Daily Max) $10 Overnight Day resets at 7AM 4th and Elm Garage $2/hr ($10 Daily Max) $6 Weekend Daily Max

Are children invited?
Answer
While we adore children, we've opted for a 21+ event to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.
Question
Will the museum have galleries open for viewing?
Answer
Absolutely! Guests will have full access to Galleries 1-10 in the Upper Ross Wing, which surrounds our ceremony space (Edwards Court). No flash photography or food/drink will be permitted in the galleries.
