The meeting point is in front of the Molly Malone statue on Suffolk Street. The tour will end with a visit to one of Dublin’s most venerable public establishments, the Stag’s Head, on Dame Lane. You’ll even learn how to pour your own pint of Guinness! Sláinte! Please email Kate or Tadhg to let us know if you're able to join.
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm
**updated location - we’ve had to change pub!** Join us for a drink to say hello and welcome everyone to Ireland! A nice chance to meet everyone before the wedding. The walking tour will end up here, so either stick around, or join us here.
2:00 pm
We've hired a coach to take you from Dublin City centre directly to the wedding. Please meet at 2pm in front of the Kilkenny shop on Nassau Street. On-the-day contact: Lizzy Baddeley +44(0)7954 322392. Please contact Kate or Tadhg directly if you'd like a spot on the bus! We don't want to leave anyone stranded (though if you are, there is either a train (45mins-1hr) or taxis (30-40mins) available, so don't worry). Buses will return from Killruddery back to Dublin at 12:30am and 2:00am. **Note: the night-time bus will also drop people off at the Wilton Hotel to save you walking back in the dark.
Sat, Aug 3, 2019, 3:30 pm - Sun, Aug 4, 2019, 1:30 am
Please arrive by 3pm for a 3:30 ceremony start. We also suggest you come early to enjoy the grounds and gardens, which include a herb garden, farm and animals (yes, there are alpacas!), hedge maze and great views of the Wicklow mountains. Following the ceremony in the Orangery, dinner, drinks and dancing will start in the Grain Store (Killruddery's beautiful converted barn) from about 6.00pm. The bar closes at 1.30am, and we all need to exit the site by 2.00am. After-party details to follow for those who are keen to keep going! Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors, but do come prepared for the changeable Irish weather! And you may want to bring spare flat shoes for walking in the gardens.
12:30 am - 2:00 am
Buses back to Dublin will run at 12:30am and 2:00am, dropping back off at Nassau Street. Note: if you're staying at the Wilton Hotel, please hop on the bus and they will drop you off, to save walking in the dark.
2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
If you're joining us for the walk, please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared in case of rain showers
Help us recuperate the day after our big party with a leisurely (gentle!) seaside walk along the beautiful Bray Head cliffs. Meet at 14:00 in Bray at The Coffee Dock Cafe on the seafront. We'll walk for about an hour and then retreat to local pub The Harbour Bar for a hair-of-the-dog and a casual bite to eat. Fresh Bray fish&chips are available! Please join us at any point! More info on the cliff walk: http://visitwicklow.ie/item/cliff-walk-bray-to-greystones *In case of really bad weather, we will not do the walk and will head straight to the pub.*
