Monkstadt

We have decided to book our room for the week at the Monkstadt Luxury Lodge & Steadings. This beautiful property has several room options, including 6 rooms in the main hotel, and then another handful of individual cottages. We’ve found that this hotel is advantageous from a cost perspective and think it would be a great option for guests to consider, especially since that’s where we’ll be staying. The Isle of Skye is very spaced out, and it should be expected that you’ll need to drive or take a taxi to our hotel and the ceremony location, which may take ~30 minutes. In other words, don’t be intimidated if you select a location that isn’t extremely close to us! Staying close to the city of Portree, or north of that, will be ideal. We’ve found simply using Google Maps to see what locations make sense is easiest.
