Things To Do

We're so excited to share some of our favorite things to do and places to eat & drink in the area!

Biking

Woodstock, VT 05091

There is some incredible mountain and gravel biking in and around Pomfret/Woodstock. Mount Peg and the Aqueduct Trails should still be riding well and rentals are available at newly opened, Ranch Camp. https://www.woodstockinn.com/do/things-to-do/mountain-biking

Hiking Mount Peg & Mount Tom

Incredible trails accessible right from Woodstock Village. Highly recommend the Faulkner Trail and Mt Peg Village Trail for views overlooking Woodstock.

Hiking the Appalachian Trail

There are multiple easy access points just a few miles from downtown Woodstock and in Pomfret just about a mile up from Saskadena Six.

Woodstock Village Historic District

South Woodstock Country Store

6134 Vermont 12, Barnard, VT 05031

Best Pancakes and Breakfast Sandwiches!

Billings Farm & Museum

69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091

The free movie is 100% worth your time and is a great way to learn more about the area and the legacy of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller.

Long Trail Brewing Company

5520 U.S. 4, Bridgewater, VT 05035

One of the original Vermont craft breweries. Extra lovely on a beautiful fall day by the river.

Great place for a pleasant cocktail in Woodstock Village.
