Wedding Party

Natasha Brown

Matron of Honor

Natasha and Kate met during graduate school in Cincinnati where they bonded over their love of science, baseball, and margaritas. They love to cook together, even more so when Kate spills diced green peppers all over the floor. Kate always trusts Natasha's movie recommendations - especially if they are B-List Horror. Catch them at the ballgame - Cubs, Reds, and Mets!

Danny Ciamprone

Best Man

Danny and Sam have been inseparable friends since middle school. Most of our conversations are Simpson's or I Think You Should Leave references, inside jokes, or literally repeating the same punchlines over and over while Joanna and Kate beg us to stop. If you can keep up, join us for a good time at the bar, catching the latest movie flick, or grooving to the smoothest most mixable music.

Kelly Dixon

Bridesmaid

Kelly and Kate began their friendship at a Cincinnati boxing gym where they threw punches and broke hearts. They have the sort of wholesome-competitive friendship where each pushes the other to be their best self - except when it comes to obstacle course races when Kate is more than happy to cheer Kelly on from the sidelines. Join them on the dancefloor while they Wobble, Baby!

Patrick Hoefle

Groomsman

Pat and Sam first met at Augustana College, by way of Bryce, when Sam made fun of his baby blue hat. Pat and Sam helped create Augie's very own Rho Nu Delta fraternity, and they quickly bonded over bad decisions and Super Smash Bros. Pat's a huge gearhead, a bit of a geological fanatic (dare I say geoloco), and -even if he's not very good at them- playing games competitively. You can find us on a light jog, feeding the botlane in league, or enjoying the great outdoors.

Melissa Occhionero

Bridesmaid

Kate first met Melissa at college in Dayton, striking up a conversation over Melissa's tennis t-shirt. They were (and still are) average tennis players but, more importantly, were first-rate roommates. Whether sharing a tiny college room or living in different cities, they are always there to support the other. After 15 years of friendship, Melissa knows where all the bodies are buried and won't tell a soul. Find them on the tennis court or at a Chicago street festival!

Bryce Hassall

Groomsman

Bryce was literally the first friend Sam made at Augustana College, when we decided skipping the magician at Freshman Orientation for a party at the BOS house was a great idea. Bryce is a rare soul who's saved my butt more times than I can recall. Steadfast and loyal are the first words Sam would use to describe him, but truly they don't do him justice. Bryce is a consummate storyteller - he knows all of the good, the bad, and the ugly - and he's a great straight man for our jokes and stories. He's an impressive game and movie collector, and you can find us sipping BLimes and airlocking each other over the game table.

Mina Johnson

Junior Bridesmaid

Mina is Kate's goddaughter and oldest niece. Kate loves watching Mina grow into the beautiful, kind, and very very funny young lady she is today and can't wait to watch her continue to blossom. Mina loves her family more than anything and Kate couldn't be more thrilled to share this special day with her! Find Mina playing Teacher and School with her brothers and cousins!

Chris McTaggart

Groomsman

Chris is Sam's brother from another mother, and a man of many talents. Entrepreneur, musician, contrarian, monopolist are just a few of the ways Sam could describe him, but still come up short. What Sam loves most about Chris, besides his love for Stephany and our family, is his unshakeable optimism about the world. Even if he loves playing the devil's advocate, Chris sees the good all around him and actively makes his home and community a better place - ask him about the 18 hole disc golf course he created in Motown. Chris is a huge music and vinyl buff, and you can find us on long walks outside, agreeing to disagree, or crushing (Chris)/getting crushed (Sam and everyone) at a game of Monopoly.
