Q & A If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out!
Question

What time should I get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony promptly starts at 4:00, please arrive at 3:30 to find a seat and settle in! Please do not be fashionably late, we waited 689 days for this, we're not waiting for you too!

Question

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

YES! Please let us know if you can come celebrate with us! We want to make sure we have enough for everyone! Even if you or your guest(s) can't make it, please respond so we can keep track!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is garden party themed, we'd love to see all of you in bright, fun colors to reflect this happy day! Sunday best or 'garden formal' as they call it :) Boots are welcomed! Block heels over stiletto, there is gravel, grass, and dirt by the ceremony location.

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

April in Austin is usually in the 70's - 80's and very humid! Although rain brings good luck when it comes to weddings, we sure hope it stays dry! But just in case, be prepared for any weather as the ceremony/cocktail hour is held outdoors and the reception is in an open tented area. If it does rain during our ceremony time, it will be held inside the open tent

Question

Kids and plus ones?

Answer

We love all the little ones in our lives, if they are on your invitation, we would absolutely love for them to party with us! Plus ones are offered on individual invitations, just make sure we'll like them as much as we like you- no pressure

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot by the bridge/cabin. You will need to walk from there to the venue (about a 3 minute walk over the bridge). Please do not park in front of the main venue building as it will be used for vendors ONLY. Enter in from Menchaca Road then turn onto Chappell Lane, you'll go over railroad tracks then follow the road through the gate.

Question

What's on the menu for dinner?

Answer

We have Lucy's Fried Chicken catering! There will be chicken, of course, traditional sides, a macaroni and cheese bar (Yes, really!), and an ice cream bar to top it off! Please let the bride know if you have any dietary restrictions ASAP!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, there will be alcohol- what kind of Texas wedding do you think this is?! Unfortunately, shots are a no-go (venue rules, not ours), but we promise the drinks will still do the trick. ***Our venue is BYOB! Help us out by bringing your favorite beer, wine, liquor (& mixers)! If you plan to bring drinks, please get in contact with us Friday or Saturday! Guests are NOT allowed to show up with any alcohol, security will confiscate it and we will get in trouble with the venue. We have to bring it in ourselves the morning of to get approved. ***Texas is a little funny with their alcohol rules. Grocery stores will sell beer and wine (no liquor), but liquor stores are closed on Sundays, plan accordingly for your favorites!

Question

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We love that you want to capture the moment, but please no pictures/phones during the ceremony. An arm and leg were exchanged for the best of the best photography and videography. After the ceremony, you do you!

Question

What if I RSVP'd yes, but can't make it?

Answer

We'll miss you! ~and silently judge you Please let one of us know if you can't make it last minute!

Question

When is the party over?

Answer

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, we have a strict out time at 10:00PM to start cleanup. Please make sure you are drinking responsibly and have a way to your hotel/home. We do not tolerate any drinking and driving!
