Question

Are Covid tests required?

Answer

Yes. We ask that everyone, regardless of vaccination status, take an at-home Covid test and receive a negative test result within 24 hours of gathering for our wedding. If you receive a positive test result, please notify us by sending an email to amanda@maybellweddings.com.

Is masking required?

Answer

While masks are not required, everyone is welcome to wear one based on their own comfort level. If your party is not fully vaccinated, we highly encourage masking while indoors. As a reminder, our ceremony and cocktail hour are scheduled to be fully outdoors. Our reception will be inside the Loft. We will have some extra KN95/FFP2 masks available.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses or jumpsuits and jackets with slacks are perfect! To heel-wearers: You will have to walk on gravel & grass, so wedges or block heels may be best!

Is there a shuttle between the hotels and the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! The shuttle will depart for the wedding from the Days Inn at 3:50pm and from the Hampton Inn at 3:55pm. When you're all danced out, the shuttle will return to the hotels at 9:00pm, 10:00pm, and 11:00pm.

Answer

We have arranged blocks of rooms at the Hampton Inn and Days Inn in Rutland, VT. Please see our Travel & Accommodations page for more information.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we hope our wedding can be a fun night out for our parent friends. With the exception of our nieces and nephews, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only.
