Question

Are there recommended hotels nearby?

Answer

There will be camping available on site for all guests - this will be available on the Thursday and Friday night - you will need to bring your own tents! There are showers and toilets opposite the paddock. Alternatively please see below for some local B&Bs and Glamping companies: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100082875524843https://www.facebook.com/TimeToShineEvents1 https://www.travelodge.co.uk/hotels/652/Chippenham-hotel https://www.angel-hotel-chippenham.com/ https://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/home.html CAMPING: If you are camping please let us know by August 1st and whether you will be needing an electric pitch or a regular pitch - the camping is all done through us not Blacklands :)

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Parking: There is parking onsite however we want to limit the amount of cars if possible so if you are able to car share or find alternative transport to the venue then please do :) We will be offering a coach pick up to and from Chippenham town centre to the venue with a stop off at 44 Queens Crescent as the location is remote and the venue have asked for minimal taxis - this will be £5 per person. If you would like to reserve a space please add as a message to your RSVP and we will send you the payment information nearer the time :) For any other journeys, Blacklands Lakes is quite remote so taxis will need to be pre-booked prior to the night. Pick up from reception. Some suggestions: Veezu - 01249 656565 Chippenham Taxis - 01249 250250

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children specified on invites. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day. Think of it as a night off!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is more important to us than a gift, however if you would like to leave a little something there will be a box on display to collect cards and gifts. If you would prefer to contribute some money this would go towards our honeymoon and would be gratefully received. We are hoping to go to Norway next year! We will have details to our honeymoon pot if you would like to contribute via bank transfer. Monzo Bank Kate Douglas 04-00-04 96268808

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Summer wedding/formal/whatever you are comfortable in - Bridesmaids will be in blue. Maid of honour in yellow. Groom will be in light blue, Groomsmen will be in navy! The venue is both inside a marquee and outside. Stilettos may not be the best option to wear as we are on a campsite. We will have a contingency plan if bad weather is forecast - let's all do a sunshine dance please!

Question

Are guests allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photographs are taken during the ceremony. We will have two photographers capturing the day :)

Question

Who should I contact if I have additional questions or need help on the wedding day?

Answer

If you have any questions please email us on kateandollie2025@gmail.com or drop one of us a message! If you need help on the day there are an array of handsome Groomsmen and beautiful bridemaids who will be able to assist you :)
