We met through mutual friends on a night out, where Nate was in Twin for Thanksgiving. We quickly bonded over Coors and orange juice — strictly as friends at first. But, after about a year of randomly seeing one another, we finally realized we actually got along really well… like really well. With a little convincing, Kate made her first trip up to the Pahsimeroi to visit Nate. That quickly turned into driving four hours there and four hours back almost every weekend for nearly a year. Somewhere between all the road trips and weekends together, we realized we shared a love for all things fun — golfing, concerts, river days, fishing, and just spending time together. In November 2024, Kate moved to the Pahsimeroi, and we officially started building a life together in our little town. Living together brought new adventures, routines, and plenty of laughs as we settled into calling the Pahsimeroi home more and more every day. In February, Nate surprised Kate with a proposal during a very “casual” photoshoot with friends — supposedly just to help break in a new camera. Safe to say, Kate was completely surprised. There were tears, lots of excitement, and of course, a proper celebration afterward. We can’t wait to welcome all of our family and friends to the place we call home to celebrate with us. Get ready to party!
