In 2018 Mike and Kate's paths crossed when Kate started her new job at Manhattan Beer Distributors in the Brooklyn branch. During this time Mike had already been employed with the company for 3 years. About a year later Mike accepted a position within the company in a different branch. With Mike's departure, Kate filled his previous role. This is where their love story began. As they both settled into their new roles, Mike found comfort in calling Kate to discuss his team all the while offering his support and advice to Kate as she fulfilled her position. Their connection and interest in each other became undeniable. Their forever story began when Mike asked Kate to dinner. At that dinner it became clear that their core values, upbringing and priorities aligned. A year and a half later Mike and Kate had dinner at that same restaurant and Mike asked for Kate's hand in marriage.
