Yes! We will be staying at The Holiday Inn at the Mainland, the same location as our reception and after-party. We also have hotel blocks set up at "Drifting Sands" and "Surf City Hotel", two beachside hotels. We will have shuttles available for transportation to and from the reception. There are also house rentals (reach out to Jeannie (203) 814-4160 for details) and Airbnbs available in the area. If you are interested in extending your trip and enjoying Long Beach Island beyond the wedding, please reach out to Jeannie Hughes (203) 814-4160 or Kate Hughes (203) 814-8412. We can provide you with additional information regarding house, apartment, or duplex rentals on the island. Our ceremony will be at 2pm at St. Francis of Assisi Church on LBI, about a 12-minute drive from The Mainland at Holiday Inn, and about 8 minutes from The Surf City and Drifting Sands hotels (barring in mind there will be Saturday beach traffic!) While there will not be group transportation to the ceremony, there is a large parking lot available for guests. For guests staying at The Surf City Hotel, Drifting Sands, or other LBI properties, there will be shuttles to transport guests to and from the reception and LBI. Shuttle schedules/times will be added closer to our wedding.
Yes! Our ceremony is at St. Francis of Assisi Parish (the address is linked on the "Schedule" tab). The church has a large parking lot with plenty of room to accommodate guests. The reception is at The Mainland At Holiday Inn Manahawkin (the address is linked on the "Schedule" tab). The hotel/reception hall also has a parking lot for guests to park. We will additionally be running shuttles for guests to and from the reception from Surf City on LBI, making stops at the Drifting Sands Hotel, the Surf City Hotel, and Airbnbs/homes as needed.
We asked that guests arrive to St. Francis of Assisi Church by 1:45 pm to get their programs and make way to their seats. Please keep in mind, there will be Saturday beach traffic so please plan accordingly.
Guests are invited to wear Semi-formal - Formal attire For women, we recommend cocktail, midi, or full-length dresses. For men, we recommend suits or sportscoats paired with ties.
Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to limited seating. We hope you understand and can still join us on our special day.
