Hike along the Via Iulia Augusta trail built in 13 BCE on the orders of Emperor Augustus to connect Rome with southern Gaul and today considered one of the most beautiful and historic routes in Liguria. The trail takes around two hours to walk and begins in Albenga and ends in Alassio.
The MolaMola Diving Team offers scuba diving and boat tours to the Gallinara island nature reserve to explore various species of marine life and plants as well as archaeological remains from the Roman and mediaeval eras. They also offer a full-day excursion to the International Cetacean Sanctuary to observe different species of marine life such as striped dolphins, minke whales, sperm whales, zephyrs, grampuses, pilot whales, common dolphins and bottlenose dolphins.
Every Saturday from 8am to 1pm, there is a weekly market held in in Piazza Paccini and Via Diaz with 76 stalls selling food products and other local Ligurian goods.
