Yes! We will be having a larger, casual reception back at home on July 27th. We have no expectations for you to make the trek to South Carolina and would love to have you in Michigan just the same!
The cut off is May 31st, but we ask that you RSVP as soon as possible as numbers are more complicated with it being out of state.
The ceremony will being promptly at 3:30 but you can arrive as early as 3:00. Please leave on time. The trip up the chapel is a slow and windy drive. There is not a place to make up time, and it would be dangerous to do so. The ceremony will also be unplugged. We ask that you turn off all cell phones and cameras during the ceremony. We have a lovely photographer and will provide you with all of the photos you could ever want. We know that the view is breathtaking and you are welcome to take your own photos prior to the ceremony. Also, please note that you will not have any cell service in the last ~30 minutes of the drive.
Garden Attire: Sundresses, floral prints, slacks, button downs/polos.
As space is limited and the wedding is small, we ask that you limit guests to those included on your invite.
Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions on the RSVP page. If you forgot please contact Luke or Kate to make sure it has been recorded with the caterer. We will be having barbecue but can provide meals to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions.
Parking is going to be tight at the reception, we ask that you carpool if possible. There is plenty of parking at the chapel.
The ceremony is outside but covered. Please note that the ceremony location can be roughly 10 degrees cooler than ground level. The reception will also be outdoors. We recommend comfortable shoes as we will be in the grass for the majority of the night.
There will be porta potties at the reception. We kindly ask that you do not enter the house, per the terms of the rental agreement.
