Our ceremony is scheduled to start at 4PM, the doors will not be open to the seating area until about 3:30 to allow set up time for the vendors at the event. If you arrive earlier, you can walk down the block to the coffee shop, or come inside to get a drink before the ceremony begins.
September in Minnesota is usually fairly warm, but the weather can always fluctuate a bit. The ceremony will be outdoors, so be prepared to be in the elements, whatever they may be. Typically weather is in the high 60s to mid 70s around our wedding date.
We won't be providing transportation due to the ceremony and reception being in the same venue. If you're staying at a nearby hotel, we'll try to provide you with an accurate uber/lyft/taxi estimate. Otherwise, if you have access to a car, Bauhaus has ample parking and most attractions in the Twin Cities are about 20 minutes away from each other. Bauhaus is also located off the number 10 bus line with easy access from downtown Minneapolis.
Yes! We will be working with another caterer to have a satelite bar to have non-beer alcoholic options available for all of our guests. There will also be sodas, water and juice boxes available if any of those are more your speed.
Please let us know with your RSVP what your specific dietary needs are. We know we will have several gluten free, vegetarian and vegan guests and so we are working to select food options that will work for all our guests. If you have specific needs, please share them with us so we can make sure to order enough of certain dishes. We want to make sure everyone gets something to eat!
Yes! Bauhaus allows kids of all ages, but because this isn't Wisconsin only those over 21 years of age will be allowed to consume beer or other alcoholic drinks. ; )
We're working on it, but don't expect to see Instagram stars Luna and Erin-Purr Brenner-Adam at the wedding festivities.
Technically the brewery is dog friendly and we would love to have your well-behaved pups who don't mind large groups of people to be there. If your four-legged family member will be more stressed out by a large number of people they don't know trying to give it attention, we ask that you consider keeping them at home. Obviously, service animals are excluded from this and are welcome. If you are bringing a service animal that needs space from other animals please let us know and we will make sure no other dogs come.
We'll be hyphenating! We both really love our last names, but also like the idea of creating our new family officially by combining them. After we say "I Do" we will officially be Kate and Kristina Brenner-Adam.
