Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be able to attend, any guest not RSVP'd by July 30th will be contacted by Kate directly to find out if they will be attending and might be teased for not replying sooner. Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love every one of your babes with our whole hearts - We thought you would like the night off, so we are having an adults-only wedding and reception. If you're coming from further away, we can help to connect you with in-town childcare options just let us know what you need!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget and space limitations, we simply can't afford for all our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we regretfully ask our guests to please not bring a plus one, unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

While your comfort is what is most important to us, please keep in mind that we are hoping to see our guests dressed in their best (There is no such thing as overdressed!) It's important to both of us that those attending have a lot of fun with what they choose to wear - we are looking for semi formal/cocktail attire like light suits and long dresses. The time of year we have planned for is historically hot in Livermore, and the full ceremony and reception will be outdoors. we recommend bringing a light jacket if you will be staying with us later into the night and we hope you won’t be afraid to wear what makes you feel sexy, and have a good time with it.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is planned for 4PM Sharp, we invite you to arrive as early as 3pm to catch up with friends or meet up with family. Please arrive at the Venue and choose your seat by 3:45 PM to avoid any interruptions or unexpected delays. If you do arrive late that’s totally OK (we just want you there!) But please hang back at the parking lot area until after the ceremony has finished and join us after it concludes for the cocktail hour.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While there is a small lot at Confenti Ranch, it will only accommodate up to 60 vehicles. Guests are STRONGLY encouraged to travel in large groups to the wedding and use Uber/Lyft/Livermore Taxi when possible! It is very important to both of us that none of our loved ones drive home under the influence or risk a run in with Livermore Police Department. Please plan out your full evening, including a ride home, if you intend to drink alcohol or otherwise impair your judgement.

Question

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will be serving assorted Wingen Bakery appetizers at the start of the cocktail hour. A little later, for dinner, we will have Mozzeria Pizza Truck operating a buffet style pizza table with three different pizza options alongside a salad. There will be a vegetarian pizza option available.

Question

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

During cocktail hour we plan on serving Kate and Josh specific signature cocktails (one Tito's and one Jameson, of course) in addition to Whiteclaws, beer, and wine... and then later for as long as it lasts! Our bartenders, Chris and Justin, are long-time close friends of our who also happen to be experts in hospitality and are ready to give you the best wedding bar experience you've ever had. They are going to be graciously helping us at no cost, in exchange for your generous tips! Please bring some cash for them if you remember, and if you don’t, we will also have their Venmo codes available at the bar so you can support them digitally. Tip your bartender! We recommend any guests with specific beverage preferences bring what they like to drink, if that will help you enjoy yourself. (down-low BYOB) and Chris and Justin can help you with cups, ice etc.

Question

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift from our registry, you can have it delivered to our home at 522 N O Street, Livermore CA. 94551. the registry is linked under that section of the website along with a honeymoon fund, the registry can also be found here https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/kateandjosh For those who would like to donate directly to our Honeymoon fund, A wedding card box will be at our reception alongside a Venmo code.

Question

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

We have set the end time around 11/11:30PM, depending on the party size at that time we can either continue at Confenti Ranch and make use of the fire pit and Bluetooth speaker or we will make our way over to Polomonie's Bar in Downtown Livermore. We know not all guests will be able to make it that late into the night, but hope those of you that are able get good rest leading up to our wedding so we can be sure to party into the night.

Question

What health and safety measures will be in place?

Answer

We ask that all guests attending come fully vaccinated and encourage you to stay home if you don’t feel well come September. With everything we have been through in the last 4 years to keep Kate alive, we are not trying to risk her health (or anyone else's) at our wedding. We encourage any guest who feels more comfortable wearing a mask, to do so, and will have some available at the venue.
