Kate and Courtney met in 2016 while working at Starbucks, they worked together for several years. Courtney also knew Jordan previously, and although she didn't set them up, she definitely helped encourage the pair to meet. Courtney is a beautiful, creative, kind soul who is always there to lend an ear. Kate could not imagine this day without her. Kate values Courtney like another sister.
Jordyn Smith

Kate and Jordyn initially met while working together at Starbucks, but then became roommates, and even better friends over the course of their 5 almost 6 year friendship. Kate considers Jordyn one of her best friends, who is always down for a brunch date, or a bike ride, or to light things on fire. Jordyn brings out the best in Kate always.
Abby Glezen

Kate met Abby, also through Starbucks, and knew pretty instantaneously that a sort of cosmic power friend group had formed. As the two became closer friends, after a 13 hour road trip to see some rocks, they never looked back. She always knows what song to play in the car and as Jordyn's partner, Courtney's former roommate, and Kate's accidental twin, Abby is the glue that holds us all together.
Lauren Cook

Kate and Lauren met in 2002, as first graders. Through Brownies, Girl Scouts, and being Greenwood Girls, we quickly became childhood best friends. Lauren and Kate have spent the last twenty- plus years laughing at the dumbest of jokes, navigating life's challenges and ultimately becoming adults together, even from far away. Kate was a bridesmaid in Lauren's wedding to her husband Tim in July of 2016, and cannot wait to have Lauren by her side for her day. True friends withstand the test of time, and this friendship is a testament to that.
Mikayla Garrels

Kate and Mikayla met in high school, their first time hanging out they saw Breaking Dawn Part 1 in the theatre and then went "planking" if that tells you what year this was. They quickly became close and spent the next few years getting into trouble together until after graduation when they both moved several times. Kate considers herself lucky that Mikayla has been back in Kansas City for the last few years, and they have remained close friends.
Josie Johnson

Josie is Kate's younger sister by 5 years. Although if you've ever seen them together you might think the opposite. Josie has been a force since the day she entered this world. She is smart, creative, and funny and is always keeping us on our toes. Kate is looking forward to sharing this day with her first best friend.
Neal Hydeman
Best Man
Neal and Jordan met while forming the band Pamona in 2015. Neal played guitar and Pamona was in desperate need of someone with prior band experience to push them into getting shows and recording music. Jordan quickly realized how Neal was "everybody's best friend". Neal is the kind of guy to drop everything he has planned an help out a friend in need when someone asks him to. He`s also the first friend to call you up after a long day and ask if you`d like to chat over a beer (always budweiser). Neal employed Jordan for a while as a union contractor for his bricklaying company "H & Parris Builders" in 2021. Neal is one of the hardest working and most reliable friends to have and its no doubt Jordan would ask him to fill in as Best Man on his important day.
Joel McAdoo

Joel and Jordan met in high school and even though they didn`t attend the same school, Jordan still had the fortunate opportunity to see Joel shred on guitar with his band "Joslyn Glades". Joel and Jordan formed the band Pamona in 2015 along with Neal and from that day on the two have been a constant staple in each others lifes. Joel is one of the most loving, caring and thoughtful friends and it has been a joy to watch his family grow.
Jada Jones

Jada and Jordan are cousins, but from the moment she was born Jada has been more of a little sister to Jordan. Jordan likes to think he was responsible for Jada's love of videogames, stranger things, and being ridiculously intelligent, but she is honestly just the coolest 12 year old you or I will ever know.
Pashince Guerra

Pashince is Jordans cousin and being born only two months after Pashince, they were practically raised together. Pashince is an amazingly caring and intelligent person and she`s always the first one to agree to ride shotgun when you want to go visit the amish in Jamesport or go look for ghosts. She loves an adventure and it has been a joy to grow up with her. Jordan is excited she has agreed to support him on his special day and looks forward to Pashince's wedding the month after!

Joseph and Jordan met through mutual friends. Jordan realized how caring, humble, and hardworking Joseph was and the two quickly became friends. Joseph is an incredibly talented human being and is willing to go above and beyond to help a friend. Joseph is a talented craftsman as well as a musician and you will quickly learn how fun karaoke can be if Joseph is present.

Gunther is Kate's kid brother, and similar to Jordan, goes to school for engineering at the University of Kansas. Extremely funny, intelligent, and kind, Gunther is the best brother anyone could ask for. Like Kate he enjoys the outdoors, camping, and hiking. Kate is excited to have him walk down the aisle with her sister Josie.
