Local information
We're getting married in Flat Rock which is 10 mins from the adorable town of Hendersonville and 40 mins south of Asheville. Right in the heart of the BlueRidge mountains. Since our venue is off the beaten path a bit, a car is necessary as Uber is not very reliable. There is antique shopping, farms, wineries, and cute locally owned restaurants in the nearby towns of Flat Rock, and Asheville has even more. Biltmore Estates is a beautiful place to check out, incredible breweries and wineries as well as endless amount of shopping. There are also lots of great hiking and outdoor activities.
Flight
CLT
American Airlines has nonstop flights daily from Los Angeles, NYC, Florida etc. CLT is in Charlotte which is about a 2 hours drive from the wedding venue. Alternatively, you can fly into Asheville Regional Airport with a stopover. Venue is 40 mins south of Asheville Airport. We would recommend flying into Charlotte and getting a rental car so you can enjoy the Blueridge Mountains and see all the beautiful towns along the way!

Camp Pinnacle
If you want the full Camp Schell experience. We are so happy to offer the cabins at the venue where were getting married for no cost. The cabins are bunk-bed style with different configurations per cabin. The bathrooms are multiple and communal. Even though this is a kids summer camp, the cabins and the bathrooms are extremely clean and up to date. We will provide towels, fresh blankets and sheets as well as pillows. If you want the full camp experience and want to stay on site, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make sure no one is having to share rooms ;)
