John and Kate met at Jake and Keely’s wedding in August 2018, and a year later, they officially began dating. Their relationship started long-distance, with John stationed in San Diego, California, serving in the U.S. Navy, and Kate living in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she was working on her bachelor’s degree. Though miles apart, they made the most of every visit, proving that distance was no match for their connection. John later moved to Wyoming to complete his MBA in Energy Management while Kate continued her degree in business. Kate eventually relocated to Las Vegas, and despite living in different states again, they cherished every visit. After John graduated, he relocated to Appleton, Wisconsin, where Kate’s company was headquartered. A year later, Kate moved as well, and they now reside in Appleton. Their journey is a testament to patience, commitment, and the belief that the right person is always worth the wait.
