Our Story
It all started in 2015 during our sophomore year at Benet Academy. Previously, thanks to a look-alike cousin and twin brother, we barely knew who was who! We finally were introduced at a Benet lock-in, & the rest is history. Our first date was a deeply romantic outing to Chick-fil-A (Kate's mom had to chauffeur her, as she wasn't 16 yet!).
Three years later, we faced a hurdle: long distance. Kate was in Dayton, Joe in Chicago. But distance couldn't slow us down! Joe faithfully made a trip to Dayton every semester, & Kate spent every break rushing home to see him.
For over a decade, we've had countless adventures: family trips to Daufuskie (Doyle) and Duneland (Kipp), studying abroad simultaneously (just a few countries apart), & now exploring every corner of our beloved hometown Chicago.
Our biggest trip yet took us to Europe, where Joe proposed along the romantic Seine River in Paris. We can't wait to celebrate with you all & are so grateful for your support since we were 15 & 16!♡
