Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly submit your reply by February 21, 2026 via the QR code on your invite, or navigate to the RSVP tab on our website and search for your name and the name of those in your party.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

See the Hotel & Travel tab of our website for more information on our hotel blocks we have reserved for booking for our guests. The 2 main hotels in The District we have rooms blocked at are The Residence Inn and Tru by Hilton & Home 2 Suites Ankeny. Please book a room by February 26th, 2026. There are a couple other hotels nearby if room blocks are fully booked. Holiday Inn Express Des Moines Ankeny and Staybridge Suites Des Moines Ankeny are just a short drive from our venue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unless specified, to stay within our venue's capacity and budget, we've made the difficult decision to limit our guest list to those we've personally invited. When RSVPing, the guests in your party will be listed out to respond accordingly. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the only gift we need! If you are feeling generous, contributions to our Honeymoon and/or Home Renovations would be greatly appreciated. We also are registered at Pampered Chef which can be accessed at https://www.pamperedchef.com/party/katestumbo0201 Make sure to click on Registry under Shop Now. We are also registered on Amazon which can be accessed at https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/kateandjarrod2026

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will begin seating people around 4:00 PM Central time and the ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM Central time. Arriving at least 20 - 30 minutes prior to the ceremony should allow plenty of time to find parking, get seated, and settled. Plan on a little extra time if you are unfamiliar with the venue and area.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking guests to dress in cocktail/business casual attire. A dress shirt or polo and slacks or khakis are examples for the guys with jackets and ties being optional. Cocktail length dress or dressy separates are examples for the gals. Weather could still be a bit on the cooler side so dressy sweaters might also be helpful in planning your outfit.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome at the ceremony if they were formally invited as a guest(s) of your party. Please RSVP appropriately for them if they will be attending and also if they will be needing or not needing a meal.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There should be plenty of parking available around The District Venue. There is a street parking and a parking lot to the south of the main entrance to the venue. There is also a parking lot on the north side of the venue. Weather permitting, The District Venue is also a short, 5 minute walk from The Residence Inn and Tru/Home2Suites by Hilton if you are already parked in their lots. These are the 2 hotels in The District we have room blocks set up at.
