Shaughnessy is Kate's first cousin on her mom's side, but they are basically sisters. From family trips, to spending summers at random science camps at the University (cheap babysitting ha-ha!) or even walks down to the Mendel Art Gallery where they would create in the art room or catch a Shakespeare show with their grandma Helen. They've grown up side by side. They fight like sisters but also love like sisters. Kate couldn't imagine anyone else to be by her side as she walks into this next chapter.

Sam is Jake's first cousin on his dad's side, but he's always been more like a brother. Even though they grew up in different states, the difference never kept them from being close. Whenever they were together, there was guaranteed laughter, plenty of memories, and only a little bit of trouble. Jake was honored to stand by Sam's side when he married Ally, and now he can't wait to have Sam standing beside him on his own big day!

Jovi is Kate and Jake's niece on the Johnson side. She's full of life, laughter and adventure. She loves making everyone smile and if you have snacks nearby, she will be your best friend in no time!
Olivia Emerson

Olivia is Kate and Jake's niece on the Terpstra side. She is bright and joyful. She loves creating art and even has a fondness for painting with blueberries. With her sweet nature and warm smile, she sure melts hearts!
