Hotel
We have booked out the whole place, so do not reserve your 10/21 & 10/22 nights online. There are four different types of accommodations at Lakedale: lodge rooms, a lake house, several log cabins, and a few yurts. Lodge rooms can accommodate two to four people. The lake house can accommodate up to 10 and the log cabins up to 6, if you include sofa beds. Yurts are ideal for 1 to 2. All capacity is based on 2/bed. Lodge rooms come with breakfast served in the dining area. All other accommodations come with a kitchen/ette and a breakfast gift basket from us <3 If you want to come early or stay late, you will have to book separately. Please note that while the website also mentions camping, glamping, and RV sites, these are only open during the summer months and will not be available to us. Check in time is at 4pm, and you pay when you check in. Pricing is based not on beds but facilities: lodge rooms are $200/night, yurts are $300/night, cabins are $300/night, and the lake house is $500/night. Please visit www.lakedale.com/accommdations for more details on lodging.
Travel Note
It's an island wedding, so let's talk ferry rides! You'll take the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor. Reservations are definitely recommended; we have the largest commuter ferries in the country, but car spots will still fill up! WSDOT recommends arriving one hour before your reservation time. We'll make sure everyone gets a reminder to make ferry reservations when it's closer to go-time. While you're on the water, be sure to check out the observation decks!
Flight
Everyone from out of town (and that's most of you) will need to fly into Sea-Tac Airport. We recommend a midday arrival to give yourself plenty of travel time and avoid the worst of Seattle traffic.
Rental Car
It's about a 100 miles to Anacortes ferry terminal from Sea-Tac airport, so we recommend renting a car to make the trip. We know this can be a pain, so if you're interested in joining a carpool let us know and we'll get you in touch with a group.
