Question

How to get to Le Mans:

Answer

From Paris to Le Mans By Train: Trains depart from Gare Montparnasse (Montparnasse station). The journey to Le Mans lasts about 1 hour. Tickets are now available and should be booked ahead via the SNCF Connect website. We highly recommend booking the high speed train option for a direct journey. From Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Le Mans By Train: The TGV (high-speed train) station is located at Terminal 2. The journey to Le Mans takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Reservations are now open. We highly recommend booking your tickets in advance via the SNCF Connect website. By Car: Car rentals are available in Terminal 2, served by all major companies. We advise booking well in advance, particularly if you prefer an automatic transmission. Please note: We do not recommend driving into Paris. If your itinerary includes a stay in Paris before Le Mans, it is best to take a taxi from the airport. Official taxi queues are located at each CDG terminal. From Orly Airport (ORY) to Le Mans By Train: Take a taxi from Orly to Massy TGV station (approximately 32 minutes). From Massy, the TGV to Le Mans takes around 50 minutes. By Car: Car rentals are available at Orly; pre-booking is recommended. If you plan to visit Paris first, we suggest taking a taxi rather than driving.

Question

What hotels do you recommend in Le Mans?

Answer

Detailed information and recommendations for nearby hotels are under the Accommodations tab.

Question

What is the best way to get around Le Mans and to the venue?

Answer

We will be providing shuttles to and from the Welcome Party and Wedding from the designated hotels. Shuttles will not be included for the Farewell Brunch. We highly suggest pre-arranging a taxi with the assistance of your hotel concierge and considering carpooling with fellow guests. Since our venue is in the countryside, we recommend using cabs rather than relying on Uber, which can be limited in the area. We personally recommend the TaxiClub app for a reliable cab service. Be sure to allow plenty of extra time if taking a cab or Uber to ensure a smooth, stress-free arrival. If you plan on renting a car and driving, we will have a limited amount of parking spaces available at the venue. Please let us know in advance if you will require this!

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding and welcome party?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be a black tie affair. We respectfully request that guests wear formal evening attire—black tuxedos for gentlemen, and gowns or long dresses for ladies. For the welcome party, the dress code will be cocktail attire, allowing for dresses of any length and suits. Farewell brunch will be garden party attire, think breezy sundresses and linen button downs. Please note, the events will take place on various surfaces including grass and gravel. We highly recommend avoiding stilettos and instead opting for wider or lower heels for ladies.
