When is the RSVP deadline?

Please let us know by Friday 7th October 2022.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To prevent delays, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony start time of 1pm.

What is the dress code/ what should I wear?

Answer

December in Scotland will be cold, especially during the ceremony as the church is an ancient monument and has no doors or window so please wrap up warm! There will ducted heating and blankets provided in the church but please be prepared. Otherwise wear whatever you feel comfortable in!

If we are staying onsite, what time can we arrive and what time do we have to depart?

You can arrive anytime after 4pm on Friday 16th December. Please depart by 11am Sunday 18th December.

Are there local taxi companies for those not staying at the venue?

Answer

Dunglass have a number of taxi companies that they use regularly. We can provide a list of these closer to the wedding.

Will there be an open bar? I.e do we need to bring cash?

Answer

No! We have it covered ;)

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would prefer if during the ceremony, people did not take photos but feel free for the rest of the day!

Can we get you a wedding gift?

Your presence is the gift so please don't get us anything!

When does the reception end?

Answer

The venue has a strict deadline of 12am for all music to end so the reception will end shortly before this.

Question

Can we throw confetti on the day?

Answer

It is not permissible to throw confetti, rice, petals, etc inside the church. Natural flower petals are acceptable outside the church.
