Walking Layla around City Island and the path along the scenic Susquehanna River (which runs right past our wedding ceremony and reception venue, the Civic Club of Harrisburg) is one of our favorite pastimes!

City Island

Hershey's Chocolate World

This is one of Layla's favorite places to walk. There are so many fun winding trails. Great place for a hike!

Wildwood Park

Another favorite walking spot! Lots of fun trails and a Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial.

Capital Area Greenbelt link Trail

A dog-friendly bookstore and coffee shop selling brand-new and secondhand books for a discounted price. One of our favorite bookstores!

The Midtown Scholar Bookstore

Joe and Kate love to visit this enormous secondhand bookstore and game shop to stock up on cheap books. Buy new releases here too!

An indoor (and outdoor during the summer) market hall featuring local food and crafts vendors. A must-see for all Harrisburg visitors.
