Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!
Penosha Trail

Penosha Trail

Brighton, MI 48116

Marked in blue, Penosha Trail is one of many in the Brighton area. One of our favorite trails to hike. Nice, easy, and pet friendly!

Huron Meadows Metropark

8765 Hammel Road, Brighton, MI 48116
, (734) 426-8211

We had one of our first dates here hiking with our pups! A beautiful place to check out even in the winter.

Historic Howell Theater

315 East Grand River Road, Howell, MI 48843
, (517) 579-2355

Catch a movie at this beautiful historic theater, and catch our names on the marquee the weekend of our wedding!

Mt. Brighton Ski Resort

4141 Bauer Road, Brighton, MI 48116
, (810) 229-9581

If you’re looking for something fun to do while in the area for the weekend, check out Mt. Brighton. Skiing and snowboarding with rentals and day or weekend passes are available.

M Street Baking Company

M Street Baking Company

117 North Michigan Avenue, Howell, MI 48843
, (517) 376-6797

Even in the winter, ice cream is always a good idea.

Bourbons

440 West Main Street, Brighton, MI 48116
, (810) 775-3197

With a great selection of what else but bourbon, Bourbons has delicious food and a great atmosphere. We recommend the butternut squash ravioli and the fried chicken.

Aberrant Ales

219 West Grand River Road, Howell, MI 48843
, (517) 518-8699

With beer, seltzers, and ciders tap, much like its name Aberrant deviates from the average brewery experience. 90's hip-hop is bound to be on the stereo, and we recommend the Nashville hot chicken sliders.

Single Barrel Social

8724 West Grand River Road, Brighton, MI 48116
, (810) 522-0031

A hipster atmosphere with an ever changing menu. Single Barrel has an array of whiskey's, scotches, and bourbons to try. We recommend the empanadas with a glass of Lagavulin.

Whitmore Lake Tavern

9839 Main Street, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189
, (734) 449-5011

If anyone is looking for a hometown bar experience, this is the place to go. The menu is just what you'd expect as far as bar fare and is packed with Michigan sports and rock n' roll memorabilia. We recommend the coney pizza and the nachos.

For all the days along the way
