Large airport ~90 minutes from Dennis. There are likely opportunities to hitch a ride with others heading down from Boston. Taking a quick flight to Hyannis is another option (see below) and can obviate the need for a rental car (Ubers are generally available on Cape Cod.)

This is a small airport 20 minutes from Dennis; flights from NY and Boston. If you're going this route, suggest booking early - the planes are very small (think ~8-10 passengers) and popular weekend times fill up.

Driving

Traffic: coming on and off of Cape is difficult: Friday afternoon (Boston weekenders coming), Saturday midday (rental house turnover), and Sunday afternoon (Boston weekenders going.) Our Rec: adjust your schedule if feasible - getting an earlier start or waiting until after rush hour can save a lot of time at the bridges. STUCK IN TRAFFIC GAMES: 1. A true cape codahh will yell bridge if you're the first one to see it (Boston --> Cape is the only time you get points) 2. Count the TOTAL number of *boats going over the bridge 3. Put the windows down to get the fresh cape air. You'll be wicked local and wicked cool. Trust us. *Fun Fact: You just might be lucky enough to see the beautiful wooden sailboat, Seaphadra, that Kate's bad ass former lax teammate Jamie Enos is the Captain of. HOLLER AT YOUR GIRL IF YOU SEE HER!
