Ever is our favorite restaurant in Aruba. We’ve shared so many special moments there, from the beautifully crafted dishes to the elegant ambiance, it's truly an experience. Watching the chef create each plate with such care is a treat in itself. The wine pairing? Just ask Eric as he enjoyed the wine very much. This place holds some of our most romantic memories, and we can't wait to go back and make more.
Barefoot was almost our wedding venue and you’ll see why when you visit. This beautiful, open air restaurant sits right on the water, offering stunning views and unforgettable sunsets. We've enjoyed amazing meals here, just the two of us and with the girls, and every dish has been a hit. It’s one of our favorite spots on the island.
Oak is a must-visit for food lovers. The food is incredible. Kate has been many times and still raves about every bite. If you're thinking of going, be sure to book a reservation well in advance... seriously, months ahead!
In 2024, we took a Sunset Catamaran tour with Octopus Aruba and had an amazing time! The experience was smooth, fun, and the views were unforgettable. While we highly recommend Octopus, there are plenty of reputable companies in Aruba that offer great snorkeling, sunset cruises, and other water excursions, you really can’t go wrong!
In 2024, Eric and Kate rented a UTV with the best man, Jay, and his wife, Erin and it was one of the highlights of the trip! If you're feeling adventurous and want to create your own private island tour, we highly recommend renting a UTV. Aruba is easy and safe to drive around, and it’s a fun way to explore at your own pace with a map in hand. Some of our favorite stops included Baby Beach, the Natural Bridge, the Gold Mine Ruins, and the California Lighthouse.
Baby beach is known its warm, shallow waters and gentle waves that make it perfect for relaxing and ideal for beginner snorkelers, who can wade far out toward the colorful coral while still touching the seabed. Eric and Kate love baby beach for its calm water and the Rum Reef.
If you find yourself near Baby Beach, we highly recommend stopping for lunch at Rum Reef. Eric and Kate especially enjoyed the great food, strong drinks, and best of all, an adults-only infinity pool overlooking the beach. It’s the perfect spot to cool off, relax, and soak in the view with a cocktail in hand.
While Kate and Eric didn’t do this excursion together, Kate has been on a the Kukoo Kunuku party bus many (many!) times and always had a blast. It’s a wild ride filled with music, dancing, and plenty of drinks are perfect for those who love a lively, party atmosphere. That said, in recent years, Chogogo has been getting even better reviews than Kukoo Kunuku on TripAdvisor, so it’s another fun option to consider if you’re up for a night of loud music, energetic crowds, and non-stop fun!
