Philadelphia's Magic Gardens
Philly’s Magic gardens is a non profit, folk art environment and bakery space in South Philly. To date it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The magic gardens spans three city lots and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. The magic gardens is located in south street where there is shopping, restaurants and lots of character! Stop by one of our favorites, Tattooed Moms for a drink and some delicious vegan bar food!
Manayunk
Come visit our home base! Manayunk has tons to offer from a Main Street filled with restaurants, bars and independent businesses to walking and running trails! Try out some of our favorite restaurants including Taqueria Amor (amazi my nachos and margaritas), Luckys Last Chance (Ed’s favorite PB and bacon burger) and Volo for amazing coffee and pastries. Make sure to stop in at Main St Music (best selection of records and Ed’s other place of work!)
Dalessandro's Steaks
If you are from out of town and want to try an amazing cheesesteak, this is the place for you! Located close to Manayunk where Kate and Edwin live.
Wissahickon Valley Park
Amazing green space located in Philadelphia! Beautiful spot for a walk or hike. Make sure to check out the Devils pool on your hike!
C & C CREAMERY
Ed and Kate’s favorite summer spot for homemade ice cream! Make sure to try out the waffle cone!
Tattooed Mom
Amazing spot for drinks and vegan bar food on south street! Keep an eye out for some of Ed’s artwork on the walls! Be sure to check out both floors and there is art covering every inch of space!
Reading Terminal Market
Amazing indoor farmers market offering a wide range of food and houseware. Make sure to try out Bassetts Turkey (amazing thanksgiving sandwich!), Bassetts ice cream and Terminis bakery (amazing cannolis and cakes). Ed and Kate love walking around the market and trying different foods from all the stalls!
Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps
A must see while in Philly! Make sure to run the stairs and get your photo with the Rocky statue!
Boathouse Row
Iconic boat house row is a beautiful area to walk along the water and visit the nearby Rocky statue! Rent bikes or sit on the banks and have a picnic!
Rittenhouse Square
Beautiful area in downtown Philly! Tons of shopping and restaurants right off the square!

Catch a live concert in one of Ed and Kate’s favorite small venues in Fishtown! Lots of bars and restaurants in the area too!
