Flight
Both O'hare and Midway are good choices for guests who need to travel with tons of options for rental cars - whichever airport is more convenient for you to fly into will be perfect! O'hare is slightly closer - a 45 minute drive to Hotel Baker, whereas it's an hour and 5 minutes from Midway.
Hotel
If all the rooms at Hotel Baker are taken, there are a few convenient hotels in the area you can take a look at! St Charles, Geneva, and Batavia are all great towns in the immediate area with very cute bed and breakfasts if you're looking to make a weekend of it, but in the immediate St Charles area, there's a Courtyard by Marriott (which does offer a shuttle to downtown St Charles), a Hilton Garden Inn, a Hampton Inn & Suites, etc.
